India’s second largest passenger car manufacturer, Hyundai, is all prepped up to launch its crossover, i20 Active, tomorrow. A few days back we laid our eyes on images of this car that looks as stunning as the car it is based upon, the Elite i20. It is clear that the upcoming launch will allow Hyundai to get a fair share of the crossover segment as the cars present in it are not doing so well. And knowing that ‘Elite’ is doing great since its debut in India, ‘Active’ may also carry forward Hyundai's success streak. Hyundai, on the other hand, hasn't started taking booking for i20 Active, may be because of the fact that crossovers have limited number of buyers.

The major highlights on the exteriors of Active will be a restyled front and rear bumper with large round foglamps, inverted front grill (contradictory to Hyundai’s signature grill), DRL’s over the sporty swept back projector headlamps, all round black plastic cladding, a rear bumper with frog-eye-like (similar to front fog lamps) reflector that also houses the reverse light. A new set on alloy wheels will be offered along with a ride height upped by 20mm. Other than these it will be largely similar to the Elite.

On the inside i20 Active will be featuring all black interiors with sporty orange accents around A/C vents and stitching on steering wheel, gear lever surround. Other than this there will be an option to choose a variant with blue and black interior color scheme too, however, it will be available in silver color only. The latter gets a similar setup as in Elite i20, but in place of beige it gets blue setup.
