Skoda is promoting its compact SUV in the Indian car market by “Yeti Performance Drive” at the select dealers of Skoda. The Yeti Performance Drive is a ride through the five point obstacle course demonstrating the ease with which the Skoda Yeti took on challenging terrains. The event saw huge participation from customers and enthusiasts at various parts of the country. This event has been organized to give customers a feel of the compact SUV off-road drive. The Skoda Yeti can be driven in the artificial course which includes slalom, wet zone, river bed, headlamp demo and hill climb. Skoda Performance Drive aims to give the automobile enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the off-roading capabilities of the Skoda Yeti in a safe, yet exciting environment. An artificial course has been laid to experience different off-road functionalities and features of the Yeti. The Slalom has been set up of 6 cones to simulate the ease of maneuvering the car in the city. Wet Zone is to experience features like ABS and EBD embedded in the SUV. The Hill Climb is for experiencing the hill hold control and the hill descent control of the vehicle.
