The car was introduced in the year 2009 and since then the car has been acclaimed globally for its design and looks. The Yeti received Top Gear Magazine's Best Family Car award in the year 2009. It won the Auto Express Car of the Year Award in the year 2010. Yeti also won the Total Offroad Magazine awards in various segments in 2011. Skoda Yeti is one of the most searched car on the internet. The Yeti made its appearance ones in the BBC's Top Gear programme in the year 2011. The car is capable to cross all the rough terrain and the reason for it is the 2.0 TDi CR/103 kW, 6-speed manual engine which delivers the power with the four wheel drive option.
