Mahindra XUV500 -mHawk Engine

Mahindra and Mahindra has worked very hard on its most loved global SUV and blessed it with a powerful and strappy 2.2 litre of mHawk that has a displacement of 2179cc. The engine comfortably churns out peak power of 140 BHP along with 330 Nm of maximum torque. The engine uses the direct injection technology accompanied by Variable Geometry Turbo charger, which helps it to be much more powerful than the mHawk engine present in Mahindra Scorpio. The fifth generation turbo charger provides the SUV with superb acceleration. When accelerated the SUV whooshes with a top speed of 185 km per hour and takes the car from 0 to 60 kmph mark in just 5.4 seconds and touches the 100 km per hour mark in 17 seconds. Therefore, the powerful engine with direct injection technology makes the Mahindra XUV 500 very agile, aggressive and robust both on road and off road.
