The Chevrolet Captiva has unmatched braking system along with the high end safety features. The car is safest because it has an Automatic Level Ride Control and ABS (Anti Lock Braking System) with Brake Assist. The Captiva has disc brakes in the front and rear end wheels. The suspension system of the vehicle is very efficient with front suspension of McPherson Strut which come along with Twin tube Gas pressure strut. At the rear end a multi link, level ride twin tube gas pressure strut has been incorporated. The car comprises both active and passive safety features to provide safeguard against the unexpected risks which may come up while off roading. The Dual Airbags present in the Captiva protects the passenger from injury in case of collision. The features which are necessary for an off roader are also present in the Captiva like Central Locking, Power Door Locks, Child Safety Locks, Anti Theft Alarm, Day & Night rear view mirror, etc. Descent Control System (DCS) present in the car helps in travelling in the hilly areas.
