Ford Figo has been offered with two engine options; 1.4-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine and a 1.2-litre Duratec petrol engine. The 1.4-litre Duratorq diesel engine comprises of four cylinders, 8valves, SOHC (single overhead camshaft), Common Rail direct injection, which produces a maximum power output of 68bhp with a maximum 160Nm torque. On the other hand, the petrol versions come with a 1.2-litre Duratec four cylinder, DOHC (Dual overhead camshaft), SEFI (sequential electric fuel injection) petrol engine, which churns out a maximum 70bhp with 102Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
